Arthropluera
Creature Guide
InvertebratesOverview
The Arthropluera is an aggressive, rideable invertebrate creature in ARK that inhabits caves across all maps. This massive prehistoric millipede features acidic blood that damages weapons and armor, making it both dangerous and useful. Tamed through passive taming with Bug Repellant, the Arthropluera excels as a base defender thanks to its armor-corrosive spit attack and ability to damage even Tek structures.
Dossier
Wild
Arthropluera felsanguis is an aggressive predator that inhabits deeper caves. Despite preferring rotten meat, it will attack any creature on sight. Its most dangerous feature is its acidic blood - when attacked, the blood splashes back on attackers, damaging weapons and armor. It attacks with a melee bite followed by an acid spit.
Domesticated
Tamed Arthropluera make excellent base defenders. Their acid spit can strip enemy armor in seconds, and they are one of the few creatures that can damage Tek structures. They excel in tight spaces and can stay underwater indefinitely.
