What is Unofficial-Servers.com?

How do I find a server?
Use the search on the homepage or the Servers page. Filter by game, server name, type (PvE/PvP), modded or vanilla, country, and player count. Click Search to see all matching results.
What games are supported?
We currently list servers for ARK: Survival Evolved, ARK: Survival Ascended, Rust, Minecraft, Unturned, and Last Oasis. Additional games are being added over time.

< For Server Owners />

How do I get my server listed?
Servers are automatically discovered and tracked by our monitoring system. If your server is publicly accessible and responds to query requests, it will appear on UFS. No manual submission is required.
How does server ranking work?
Servers are ranked by community upvotes. Logged-in users can vote once per day for each server. The more votes a server receives, the higher it ranks. We also use real activity data and actively derank servers with fake or inflated player counts.
How do I claim ownership of my server?
Sign in with Discord or Steam, navigate to your server's detail page, and click Claim Ownership. You'll receive a verification code to prove you control the server. Once verified, you can customize your server listing, set wipe dates, and manage your community's presence.
How do wipe alerts work?
After claiming your server, you can set a Next Wipe date from your server dashboard. When you update the wipe date, our system posts a notification to Discord so your community knows when to expect the wipe. You can also clear the wipe date at any time.
How do I promote my server?
The best way to grow your server's visibility is to encourage your community to vote for it. Higher vote counts improve ranking position. Keeping your server information up to date and engaging with your community also helps attract new players.

What can I do with an account?

I forgot which platform I used to sign in. What do I do?
Try signing in with both Discord and Steam to see which one is linked to your account. If you run into issues, reach out to us on Discord or email [email protected].

How are player counts tracked?
We query game servers directly using the Source Query protocol (also known as Steam Query). This retrieves the live player count, max players, server name, map, and other information directly from the server. No third-party data or estimates are used.
How often is server data updated?
Servers are monitored continuously 24/7. Our tracking system polls each server at regular intervals and updates the data in real-time. The Last Checked timestamp on each server detail page shows exactly when the data was last refreshed.
Why is my server showing as offline?
A server shows as offline when it stops responding to query requests. Common causes include the server being stopped, a firewall blocking the query port, the game server crashing, or network issues. Check that your server is running and that the query port is accessible from the internet.
What is the query port and how is it different from the game port?
The game port is what players use to connect and play. The query port is a separate port used to request server information like player counts and server name. On most games, the query port is the game port + 1 (for example, if your game port is 27015, the query port is typically 27016). Both must be accessible for full functionality.
