The Electrophorus (also called Eel, Electric Eel, or Shockly) is an electric eel-like creature in ARK: Survival Evolved. Famous for its ability to generate powerful electrical discharges, it can stun creatures and charge electronic devices. This amphibious predator is found in freshwater rivers and swamps, making it a unique taming challenge for survivors.

Electrophorus electricus is a truly remarkable creature. While it may appear as a simple eel, it possesses the ability to generate devastating electrical discharges. When threatened or hunting, the Electrophorus can unleash a shock powerful enough to incapacitate much larger creatures. Its elongated body is perfectly adapted for navigating the murky rivers and swamps where it resides.
Domesticated
A tamed Electrophorus is a force to be reckoned with. Its electrical abilities make it invaluable for both combat and utility. The shock it produces can disable electronic devices and stun attackers, while its ability to charge electrical equipment makes it useful for powering remote outposts. Though fragile, its shocking capabilities more than make up for its lack of durability.
