Jerboa
Creature Guide
MammalsOverview
The Jerboa is a small mammal found in ARK: Survival Evolved on the Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, Valguero, Crystal Isles, Genesis: Part 2, and Lost Island maps. Resembling a miniature kangaroo with a fox-like head and large ears, the Jerboa is one of the cutest creatures in the game. It is primarily used as a Weather Detector - when tamed, it will behave differently when weather is about to change. While it cannot be ridden and has no combat utility, its unique weather prediction ability makes it a valuable companion in the harsh desert environments.
Dossier
Wild
Scientifically speaking, Renopila amplexus is an adorable little fuzzball and I just want to hug it forever. Unfortunately, being harmless and lovable is inadequate as a defense mechanism in this wasteland, and that means Renopila is at the bottom of the food chain. It
Domesticated
In addition to being the cutest little companion in the desert, hours of close study and/or cuddling have taught me that Renopila has an instinctive understanding of this land
