Kairuku
Creature Guide
BirdsOverview
The Kairuku is a flightless bird creature in ARK: Survival Evolved, resembling a penguin with a long pointed beak and wood stork-like head scales. Found across the colder regions of multiple maps, Kairuku are friendly, docile creatures that provide valuable Organic Polymer when harvested. They are excellent swimmers but clumsy on land. While not useful in combat, they are often tamed for their cute appearance and the warmth they provide - their bodies run extremely hot, helping survivors stay warm in cold environments.
