The Liopleurodon (Lie-oh-poor-oh-don) is an elusive ocean creature in ARK: Survival Evolved. Known for its magical properties and rarity, this pliosaur-like reptile can only be tamed temporarily (30 minutes) but grants the powerful Mystic Skin Oil buff that enhances loot quality from crates for 6 hours. It is one of the least tamed creatures in the game due to its extreme rarity and the fleeting nature of its taming.
