The Corrupted Master Controller is the main boss of Genesis: Part 1, encountered in the System Root arena. This corrupted AI is the final challenge players face in the Genesis simulation. Unlike traditional bosses, the Master Controller is immune to damage in all phases except the final phase, requiring players to collect data keys and use the codebreaker terminal to disable its shield. Defeating it unlocks valuable Tek gear and ascension implants.

Behavior
- Immune to damage in all phases except final phase
- Floats in center during initial phases, hurling insults
- Summons endless Corrupted Avatars and Dinotars as minions
- Final phase fires laser beams that dismount players
- Uses data key collection system - collect keys and send to codebreaker
- Has damage threshold - only 1/4 health can be damaged per shield cycle
