Megalodon
Creature Guide
FishOverview
The Megalodon is a massive prehistoric shark and one of the most dangerous aquatic predators in ARK: Survival Evolved. Found in the deeper waters of most maps, this creature is extremely aggressive and will attack on sight. It is nearly the equal of a Tyrannosaurus in raw power when in its element. The Megalodon drops the valuable Megalodon Tooth (100% chance) and is essential for deep sea exploration and harvesting Raw Prime Fish Meat.

Wild
Were it not restricted to the waters, Carcharodon ultramegalodon would be one of the most dangerous creatures on the island. As powerful and dangerous as the Tyrannosaurus is on land, Megalodon is near its equal in the water. In addition, it has a speed advantage over any non-aquatic creatures when submerged. Megalodons need large quantities of food to sustain themselves, so they attack most creatures immediately on sight.

Having access to the resources and treasures hidden deep within the ocean is near impossible without a domesticated sea creature. Although the Megalodon is difficult to domesticate, it proves to be very useful when exploring the deep sea. It
