The Mek is a deployable Tek robot in ARK: Survival Evolved, introduced with the Extinction DLC. This giant mechanical suit is piloted by survivors and serves as a powerful combat vehicle. It runs on Element as fuel and features multiple weapon systems including a TEK Saber and Plasma Pistol. The Mek can also equip various modules for different combat roles and can merge with three other Meks to form the powerful Mega Mek.

Wild
The Mek is not found in the wild - it must be crafted at a Tek Replicator and deployed. It is a humanoid combat robot designed to fight Titans and other large threats.
Domesticated
Meks are immediately tamed when deployed from an Unassembled Mek. They cannot be bred but can be equipped with various modules to customize their role in combat.

- Neutral when not piloted - no threat on its own
- Runs on Element fuel for special abilities
- Generates heat when using boosters or firing weapons
- Overheating reduces speed and damage
