Piranha
Creature Guide
FishOverview
The Piranha (previously called Megapiranha) is a carnivorous fish found in rivers and lakes across ARK. Known for its incredibly powerful bite and aggressive swarm behavior, Piranhas travel in groups of 4-5 and can tear through even armored creatures. While individually weak, a school of Piranhas can quickly overwhelm much larger prey. They can be tamed using a Fish Basket in Aberration and later transferred to other maps.

Domesticated
The Megapiranha is highly territorial and does not respond favorably to visitors. Many have tried to pacify the hostile Megapiranha by herding them into a group with various lures. Unfortunately, none of this proved to be successful in attempting to domesticate the creature.
