The Astrocetus (also known as the Space Whale) is a fantasy creature in ARK
Behavior
- Lives in the Lunar Biome (High Orbit)
- Normally docile but becomes territorial when approached
- When spotted, stays still for ~2 seconds before moving very slowly
- Every 8 seconds, shoots colorful cosmic energy from blowhole to gain speed
- Has translucent skin showing internal organs
- Has 14 eyes (7 on each side), 4 pectoral fins, 2 pelvic fins
- Can float (immune to gravity effects in Lunar biome)
- Attacks with bite and tail slap

KO Strategy
Best method: Use a TEK Hover Skiff with cannons mounted at the front tip. Keep 20-30 meters away and shoot cannons at the head. Alternative: Use a Megachelon with cannons, or Mek with M.S.C.M. module. Bloodstalker + Rocket Launchers also work.
