Carbonemys (often called Turtle) is a large prehistoric turtle creature in ARK: Survival Evolved. Known for its incredibly thick shell that can absorb tremendous damage, it is a defensive herbivore with a surprisingly fast swim speed. It makes an ideal armored mount for survivors who prefer a peaceful approach.

- Very slow on land but fast in water

KO Strategy
Use tranq arrows from a safe distance. Avoid punching - its shell absorbs damage well. Alternatively, use a Scorpion for torpor. Can also use slingshot but requires many hits. Aim for the head, not the shell.
