Overview

The Lamprey is an aggressive aquatic creature in ARK: Survival Evolved, added with the Aberration DLC. Resembling an eel with a glowing tail, Lampreys are parasitic parasites that latch onto survivors and tames to drain their blood. While they cannot be properly tamed, they can be contained in Fish Baskets for later use. When attached to a survivor, they provide charge light and temporary radiation immunity, making them useful for navigating the dark caves of Aberration without attracting Seekers or dealing with radiation.
