Overview

Mosasaurus

The Mosasaurus is one of the largest aquatic predators in ARK, ruling the deep waters surrounding the island. This massive marine lizard can grow up to 50 feet long and serves as an excellent apex water mount for advanced tribes. Its enormous platform saddle makes it perfect for building mobile ocean bases. While not as fast as some aquatic creatures, its sheer size and power make it one of the best oceanic defenses available.

KO Strategy Use a Plesiosaur or other water mount to find and lure Mosasaurus into shallow water or a trap. Crossbow with Tranq Darts works best underwater. Build a stone gate trap in deep water to contain it. Alternatively, kite it to shore and shoot from above. Bring plenty of tranq ammo - they have high torpor but fast depletion.
