The Paraceratherium (commonly called Paracer) is one of the largest mammals in ARK. This massive herbivore resembles a gigantic horse/rhinoceros hybrid. It is incredibly strong and can serve as an excellent beast of burden, capable of supporting a platform saddle for building structures. With high health and weight capacity, it makes an ideal pack animal and early-game mount.

- Naturally docile herbivore - ignores humans and other creatures unless provoked
- Becomes extremely dangerous when attacked due to massive size
- Solitary creature or found in small family groups
- Will protect herd members if necessary
- Very fast despite massive size - can be hard to kite
- Roams grasslands and forest edges at lower altitudes
- Excellent sense of smell compensates for poor vision and hearing
