The Ice Wyvern is a variant of the Wyvern creature in ARK: Survival Evolved, found exclusively on Ragnarok, Valguero, Lost Island, and Fjordur. These majestic flying predators resemble their fire-breathing cousins but possess ice-based abilities instead. They appear in shades of light blue, white, with rare variations including green, black, grey, and pink. Ice Wyverns have a more bird-like appearance with a thin, beak-like snout and prominent brow spikes, making them the most avian of all Wyvern variants.

Like its relatives, the Ice Wyvern is a creature straight out of European legend. Unlike the larger Dragon, the Wyvern possesses only two legs like an avian. The Ice variant has adapted to the coldest regions, developing ice-based breath attacks instead of fire. They are extremely aggressive and will attack on sight. Their bodies are covered with spikes starting from the shoulders and running down the spine to the tail.
Domesticated
The Ice Wyvern makes an unparalleled flying combat mount. Its ice breath can slow and damage multiple enemies, while its agility surpasses many other fliers. The ridges on its back form a natural saddle position. Like all Wyverns, adults cannot be tamed - they must be raised from eggs to gain their loyalty.

- Flies at moderate speeds, faster than some other fliers
